First and foremost, I start with the business objectives and look at how communications can help organisations perform better and meet their strategic goals.

I have helped businesses drive change and respond to it.  I have helped build and protect reputations and campaign for new ways of doing things.

I like to work with ambitious people and organisations, whether innovators or entrepreneurs, big brands, government or industry bodies, from bold start-ups to the FTSE-100.

I understand the agency and client worlds.  I can respond quickly and hit the ground running and I understand the issues and the operating environment.

Those characteristics have flowed through an impressive list of organisations I’ve helped from

  • creative industries to behaviour change campaigns.

Meanwhile, I helped shape two of the leading communications agencies of our time.

I built the corporate affairs team at the digitally-led communications agency Brands2Life.

Before that I helped create the Fishburn Hedges Group and as marketing director helped blend the offer across corporate and consumer PR, public affairs, internal communications, digital and social and design.

Earlier still, I set up and ran the Fishburn Hedges Group’s consumer brand agency Seventy Seven PR.
